We had the good fortune to attend a demonstration by Samantha Gowing the guru behind Food, Health, Wealth a ‘wellness solution company’. Sam does really interesting food that is genuinely healthy. Her creativity is evident when you listen to her talk and combine a range of foods to get the optimum combination of texture, taste and health.
The day we were there she was cooking a buckwheat and vegetable warm salad. Fresh mushrooms (four types), ginger, asparagus, seaweed, were all combined to make for a stunning healthy lunch. A delicious tahini dressing topped it all off.
The demonstrations are on every Thursday and Saturday at 11am and 1pm (but do check the The Kitchens site just in case – and there is a short break in demonstrations over Christmas week) and it’s free. Lots of tips and ideas for what you can do at home.
