Cute little Asian fusion eatery

One our recent  trip to Melbourne we went to Rice Paper Scissors and had a fabulous lunch. Located in Liverpool Street, Melbourne Central business district it is fairly easy to find. This place is really cute, arty and buzzing; so incredibly busy.

Funky indoors of the restaurant

We sat on high stools at the bar overlooking the people preparing the drinks and food.

The cuisine as the title suggests is very much Asian Thai fusion sort of food and very creative. We booked well in advance which was probably just as well because the place was absolutely packed on the day that we went for lunch.

Cheers to RPS – ha ha

As we are not meat eaters we tended to go for a lot of the seafood options: prawn dumplings; soft shell crab in a bun, some really nice little morsels of scallop on a betel leaf, some squid and some fish – it was absolutely stunning!! Take a look at some of the great food we ate!

We definitely plan to go back when we next in Melbourne and seriously recommend it if you are in Melbourne – give the place a go but do make a booking – it is really really good.
