Just by chance we were walking up the street in Shinjuku, Japan and came across Janice Wong dessert bar. We love her food and had the pleasure of meeting Janice in Melbourne at a high tea back in 2015. So it was hard to walk by without sampling this little piece of heaven.
The first order was for Wasabi Peach – a compote of peach with fromage blanc wasabi cream, berry soup, peach nitrogen and raspberry & pink pepper.
Next up was Chocolate H2O: bitter chocolate, mousse, salted caramel, yuzu sorbet – yum.
Janice sure knows how to get a girl’s attention with her creative and complex sweets. Loved the expereince.
