A recent trip to Japan led to all sorts of fabulous eating experiences. One highlight was at Honke Bankyu, a ryokan in Yunishigawa, established as Japanese Traditional Hotel (Ryokan) Since 1666 (according to their information).
This was a peak experience of our trip as the ryokan was so unique. We had a lovely room overlooking a river and access to a private onsen (Japanese hot spring bath).
Dinner and breakfast was included and this was a feast to behold.
