Work hard, get a badge, and celebrate by eating. This is our latest, craziest idea to justify eating out more frequently than ever before.
The idea is that every time we make some little achievements we get a little reward or a badge, as we like to joke. This week we got a badge that was good enough to let us go and have pizza. Not just any pizza, but pizza at Justin Lane.
It had been a really tough day with lots of running around trying to get Wi-Fi connection at the apartment. Without boring anyone with the details perhaps we can just say there were a lot of hurdles to overcome before Wi-Fi is connected.
Back to eating. We arrived at Justin Lane at around 6:45 PM and the place was already quite full and there was a general hum of good cheer in the air.
We decided to order two starters and two pizzas and a couple of beers and a soft drink.
Chargrilled octopus with white bean purée; eggplant chips with a chutney dip for starters. Love the eggplant chips😍😍.
Next, a mushroom pizza and seafood pizza. Both were yum but the seafood got the number 1 vote.
Overall, we really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and the food – we will definitely be back to try more of the meals at Justin Lane. Visited in June 2016.
Cost for three people: $114
