Out for some group dining at a little Thai restaurant at Burleigh Heads.
We started our dinner with some delicious fish cakes which were really tasty; we then went on to have some calamari rings with hot chili sauce. Both were fabulous but the fish cakes were the best!
Some little Thai money bags were also very tasty.
We also had some beautiful seafood meals – one was mixed seafood with some delicious mussels in a peppery sauce. Another was a really beautiful fish fillets in a Tamarind sauce with red onions. There was also a beef Massaman curry (for the meat eaters) with potatoes onions and peanuts slowly cooked in a traditional manner.
Our last dish for desert was a light lychee panna cotta – it was a soft creamy version with some jelly on top – easy to eat and a nice light way to finish off a lovely meal.
$35 pp as part of a group banquet deal. Good value and we will be back to try some noodles.
